Abstract: Hepatitis C virus (HCV) is hepatotropic and pantropic,which also shows a lot of extrahepatic manifestation except liver damage. In recent years,studies show a close relationship between cardiovascular diseases and chronic hepatitis C. HCV infection can cause atherosclerosis,myocardial disease,myocarditis,pulmonary high-pressure and so on,making it a risk factor of cardiovascular diseases.
