Management of patients with non-alcoholic fatty liver disease

Abstract: Nonalcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) is the pathological manifestation of metabolic syndrome in the liver. The morbidity rate of NAFLD in China is increasing,and NAFLD is closely related to the progression and mortality of liver disease and the morbidity of diabetes and cardiovascular disease. Therefore,it is urgent to seek a comprehensive management of patients with NAFLD. In this paper,we reviewed the NAFLD classification,staging,treatment and follow-up evaluation,in order to guide clinical practice.
