Abstract: Objective To explore adefovir dipivoxil and bicyclol in treating patients with chronic hepatitis B. Methods 62 patients with chronic hepatitis B were treated with adefovir dipivoxil and bicyclol for 96 weeks, and 60 were with adefovir dipivoxil for 96 weeks. Results At the end of the 96 week treatment, the ALT normalization rate in combination group was 96.8%,much higher than in control(80.0%,x2=5.8,P<0.01);the HBeAg(41.9% vs.33.3%,x2=2.1,P>0.05)and HBV DNA loss(85.5% vs.73.3%,x2=0.6,P>0.05)in the two groups were not significantly different;the serum HA,LN,PC Ⅲ and Ⅳ-C levels in combination group decreased more obviouly than in control(P<0.01). Conclusion Adefovir dipivoxil combined with bicyclol can improve liver function, and decrease serum markers of liver fibrosis.
