Abstract: Objective To explore the application of three enhanced scanning and three-dimensional reconstruction of 64-slice spiral CT in the diagnosis of extrahepatic bile duct carcinoma. Methods 20 patients with surgically and pathologically proved extrahepatic bile duct carcinoma were examined by 64-slice spiral CT.Results Out of 11 patients with hilar cholangiocarcinoma, the tumors located in the left hepatic duct in 3,in right hepatic duct in 2 and in hepatic duct terminal in 6 cases;Intrahepatic bile ducts were dilated in 11 cases with hilar cholangiocarcinoma;mass enhancement was not obvious in early phase;in delayed phase,9 cases showed complete enhancement, and heterogeneous enhancement in 2 cases;Dilated common bile duct was suddenly interrupted or deformed in 9 cases with cholangiocarcinoma of common bile duct;Intraductal soft tissue node was shown in 2 cases. Conclusion 64-slice spiral CT is an ideal Methods to diagnose the extrahepatic bile duct carcinoma.
