Diagnosis and treatment of patients with diabetic hepatopathy

Abstract: Diabetic hepatopathy (DH) is a complications of diabetes, most commonly arised from non-alcoholic fatty liver disease and glycogenic hepatopathy. DH has a high morbidity and always leads to serious clinical consequences. However, the disease has been neglected to date. In this review, we summarized the findings regarding the clinical and pathological features, mechanisms and therapeutic strategies of the disease.
