Abstract: Objective To investigate the levels of IFN-γ and TNF-α in MHV-3-induced fulminant hepatic failure. Method MHV-3-induced fulminant hepatic failure was adopted in mice and the serum and hepatic levels of IFN-γ and TNF-α was assayed by ELISA. Results As MHV-3 infection passed by，the serum and hepatic levels of IFN-γand TNF-αwas elevated significantly，and they reached the highest before the mice were dead. Conclusion IFN-γand TNF-αmight take part in the pathogenesis of MHV-3-induced fulminant hepatic failure in mice.
