Abstract: Hepatic fibrosis is a repair reaction of diffuse excessive deposition and abnormal distribution of extracellular matrix (collagen, glycoprotein, proteoglycan, etc.) after various liver injuries. It is a key step in the development of various chronic liver diseases to cirrhosis. In recent years, there have been many advances in the basic and clinical aspects of liver fibrosis and its understanding. For this reason, we have organized domestic experts in this field to form consensus on the diagnosis and evaluation of liver fibrosis, the treatment of liver fibrosis and the clinical development and application of drugs for the treatment of liver fibrosis, so as to better guide the diagnosis and treatment of liver fibrosis and drug research and development.
