Impact of hepatic macrophages polarization on pathogenesis of liver cirrhosis

Abstract: Liver cirrhosis is a very serious chronic progressive liver disease caused by one or more pathological factors repeatedly. The hepatic macrophages is regarded as the important cells for liver damage and repair. The different phenotypic liver macrophages on inflammation of liver are discussed, and the liver macrophage polarization is emphasized in this paper.
