Progress in the treament of hepatitis B virus-associated glomerulonephritis

Abstract: Hepatitis B virus-associated glomerulonephritis (HBV-GN) is a common clinical secondary renal disease in China, which is mostly seen in children and young adults. It has been more than 30 years since the discovery of the association between hepatitis B virus(HBV) infection and the occurrence of glomerulonephritis. However,controversy still lie in the treatment of HBV-GN since then. We aim to give a brief introduction of research and progress in the treatment of HBV-GN.
